IJPC Movie Night: Comprehensive Immigration Reform

May 24, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The case of Maribel Tuijllo Diaz broke the hearts of many people as we all watched a close-knit family be torn apart by a broken immigration system. Both Democrat and Republican officials in Ohio rallied on Maribel’s behalf, so the question now is “When will Congress take action for comprehensive immigration reform?”
Join IJPC as we watch Frontline’s investigation “Immigration Battle” explaining how the 2013 bi-partisan legislation for immigration reform failed. We’ll have discussion as we watch the film to learn from our history and strategize for our future.
Donations welcomed.
