Just Mercy Film Screening – SOLD OUT

January 15, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

**Discounted tickets for this event are SOLD OUT. However, full price tickets can be purchased on Wednesday 1/15 from the AMC website or at the theater. You can still join IJPC and friends for the 6:00 PM show!

Join IJPC for a viewing of Just Mercythe film adaptation of Bryan Stevenson’s book by the same name that exposes the many layers of injustice in our capital punishment system. Starring Jamie Foxx, Michael B. Jordan, and Brie Larson, the film focuses on the true story of Walter McMillian, who was arrested in 1987 for a murder he didn’t commit, and it details the racism and incompetency of the Alabama legal system that refused to acknowledge their wrongdoing. Following the movie, you’ll have the chance to pick up information about how you can be involved in IJPC’s efforts to end the death penalty. These tickets are available at a discounted price, but they are limited, so get yours today!

IJPC’s discounted tickets are SOLD OUT.
