Rethinking Racism Presents: Healing Through Art

November 19, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

During these stressful times, join us to refresh and reflect on our struggle for justice through various art mediums.

This event features interactive art exercises facilitated by visual artist Daryl Daniels, spoken word artist Abby Morrah-James, and performances by MUSE Choir.

Register here.

*No artistic skills or special materials are required for this event!  The visual arts activity, however, will involve a scratch art technique; you can purchase scratch art paper at stores such as Target or Walmart, make your own with crayons  or you can download an app, such as the Scratchify app, to use the scratch art technique. Additionally, any kind of paper and any writing utensils can be used to modify the activity.

About IJPC

The Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust local, national and global systems, and promotes the creation of a nonviolent society. IJPC is supported by faith-based organizations and individuals who work together to educate around justice issues, take collaborative action and do public witness. We address local, national and international concerns focusing on the death penalty, immigration, human trafficking and peace and nonviolence.
