IJPC Response – Ray Tensing Mistrial

Though not privy to courtroom proceedings, IJPC remains concerned that power and privilege have served as the determining factors in reaching a mistrial for Ray Tensing for the murder of Sam DuBose. We believe that all life is precious and deserving of respect and protection. This decision deepens our commitment to advocating for an end to systemic racism through peaceful and nonviolent means. We strongly urge Joe Deters to retry this case.

About IJPC

IJPC is supported by faith-based organizations and individuals who work together to educate around justice issues, take collaborative action and do public witness. We address local, national and international concerns focusing on the death penalty, immigration, human trafficking and peace and nonviolence.
