2021 Way of the Cross for Justice

Join us for a re-imagined Way of the Cross for Justice this year. Together with our partners, IJPC invites you to engage in a self-guided Good Friday pilgrimage connecting the suffering of Jesus with the suffering brought about by injustice in our day.

The pilgrimage will begin at St. Francis Seraph Church and get on the Cincinnati Bell Connector (streetcar) for free. At nine streetcar stops, you can pray with corresponding reflections on your smartphone or printed program. Do this on your own, at any time of the day, or gather with masks and social distancing anytime between 12:00-2:00 PM. You may also walk, bike, or drive the route.

The program is available here. You can print the program from home or pick up a copy at St. Francis Seraph Church on Good Friday, April 2, 2021.

Help us spread the word and share this invitation with your friends or community.

As we remember that Jesus was put to death by the state, we reflect and commit to ending the death penalty in Ohio, and invite you to consider contributing to support IJPC’s work for abolition.

About IJPC

The Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust local, national and global systems, and promotes the creation of a nonviolent society. IJPC is supported by faith-based organizations and individuals who work together to educate around justice issues, take collaborative action and do public witness. We address local, national and international concerns focusing on the death penalty, immigration, human trafficking and peace and nonviolence.
