DACA+/DAPA = blocked. IJPC Statement.

Today we are saddened and disappointed to hear of the 4-4 tie vote from the Supreme Court of the United States for Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and an extension of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA+) which upholds the lower court ruling blocking President Obama’s executive action on DAPA and DACA+.

YES Member Graduates Xavier

In May 2016, one of our YES Members (and former interns) graduated Xavier University. All of us at IJPC congratulate Ryan and are excited to see the strides he will make as he continues to be a voice for social justice.

SCOTUS on Immigration

On Monday April 18, 2016, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) will hear oral arguments related to Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and extended Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programs.
